Your white week in the Dolomites!

WHERE FUN IS SYNONYMOUS WITH SKIING … AND MORE!

In winter the Dolomites are an unforgettable experience and Canazei is their heart. Not only because of the dreamlike landscape and of the traditions, but also because the place is a paradise for winter sports. Here you can go skiing, have fun on the sledges, go with snowshoes or keep fit on cross-country skis. In short, pure fun on the snow.

From our hotel you can reach four different ski circuits, four snowparks and nine ski resorts that are connected into each other.

From the Chalet Vites Mountain Hotel, you are only a few steps away from the new Funifor Alba-Col dei Rossi cable car, which allows you to enter to Sellaronda: you have access to 1200 kilometers of slopes in twelve Ski areas with a single skipass. Dolomiti Superski is one of the best ski and mountain sports resorts. If you prefer it a smaller and quieter area, you can try Ciampac-Buffaure ski resort, not far from the hotel.

Winter in the Val di Fassa is much more…

Fassa valley offers many other activities than skiing, such as freestyle, freeride, ski tours, night trips, paragliding, cross-country skiing, snowshoe hikes, ski safari or ice climbing.

We are partners of Fassa Sport & Outdoor as well as Sport Checkpoints, who provides all the sports accompanied by a qualified guide. For our guests there is also a whole range of free or discounted initiatives, always accompanied by certified experts.

Freestyle

In Val di Fassa, there are no less than five snowparks in twelve ski resorts, all of which belong to the world’s largest ski association: Dolomiti Superski. This network increases the number of snowparks to 21, making it one of the largest freestyle networks in the world. No wonder there is something for everyone to discover and try out: from the beginner to the professional, from the half pipe to rails and kickers of all sizes.

Freeride

There is hardly anything nicer than pulling its tracks through immaculate snowy surfaces. In Val di Fassa, the freeride lovers will get their money’s worth, there are countless tours and slopes. And if you want, you can get expert help with a ski guide. (Sport Check Point)

Ski tours

The original form of skiing celebrates an incredible comeback. More and more skiers are back on their skis with their skins to climb untouched slopes and draw their tracks in the snow. In Val di Fassa, too, innumerable ski tours lead through forests and meadows and pastures to the summits. The best way to explore them is with a guide. (Sport Check Point)

Night skiing in the Fassa Ski Stadium

Even at night, you can ski in Val di Fassa, in the Fassa ski stage on the Aloch slope.

Cross-country skiing

Val di Fassa is a cross-country paradise, with the Marcialonga, one of the most famous national cross-country races, leading through our valley. The legendary cross-country ski runs can be explored just like those at the Ciampac at 2000 meters above sea level.

Fancy a trip through deep snow forests and a dinner in a romantic cottage? (Sport Check Point)

Tour Safari

Whether on the slopes or off the beaten track: if you want to discover magical, untouched landscapes, this can be done with the tour safari – overnight stays in mountain huts included.

Ice climbing

Probably the most exciting form of climbing should be approached with experienced mountaineers.

Sellaronda Tour

Four Dolomite Passes Tour

The new Funifor Alba-Col dei Rossi cable car is just 150 meters from our hotel. It brings you up to ski resorts, which lead you on a unique tour around the Sella group: from Fassa valley to Gardena valley, from there to Badia Valley, to Arabba and back to Fassa.

Skitour Panorama

With the Ciampac cable car, also only 150 meters from our hotel, you can go onto the ski tour Panorama. This ski circuit connects Alba di Canazei with the slopes of Pozza/Buffaure.
